After injuring himself, Yankees second baseman Carson Bigbee headed straight to the hospital. He was removed from the game as a precaution after colliding with a player at a base and the team's worst fears were confirmed when it turned out to be a little more serious. Bigbee will miss at least 2 weeks with a fractured hand.
So far this season, Bigbee has recorded a .287 batting average with 102 hits, 1 home run, 79 RBIs, 65 runs scored and a .350 OBP. |
